I am a data scientist closing in on 10 years of experience spanning tech startups and large Forbes 500 companies. I have a passion for using math and machine learning to solve complex problems, and my solutions have generated over $50M in value. It’s incredibly rewarding to see these models make a tangible impact and improve the businesses I’ve collaborated with.
My Journey in Data Science
One of my favorite things about Data Science is its versatility across different topics and industries. I’ve lead some awesome projects including:
- Pollen-detection and user segmentation models for Zyrtec brand. By sending a simple push notification just ahead of peak pollen near a user, we can help users reduce their allergy symptoms.
- Sales forecasting for a large e-commerce startup using time series analysis to forecast sales for over 10k products in under 10 mins using Spark 💥.
- Computer Vision for Pet Health: surprisingly, we can tell a lot about our favorite pet’s health by analyzing 💩 pics.
- Large Language Model Agents automating IT Help Desks in an empathetic, high-touch manner. This improves efficiency while making users feel seen during technical troubleshooting.
Working across these companies has been really insightful for learning how different businesses run and what role Data Science serves. I created this site to share my insights and experiences in Data Science more broadly.
